I first discovered my love for adventure at the ripe age of seventeen, moving from Ottawa to Halifax, to pursue my University education. I have a constant need for new stimulation, whether it be places or faces, and have not yet stayed in a city longer than two years. I have never had a problem fitting in in a new city, as I am a very personable and extroverted individual who craves social stimulation.
Following the law of “a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet”, many people in my past have asked how I am able to move to any city, not knowing a single soul and still be able to quickly build a solid community of friends. I have developed strong confidence and become comfortable speaking my mind through my improv training in Highschool.
I have performed at the National Arts Center in Ottawa and am recognized for my quick thinking and witty sense of humour and always seem to seek the spotlight. Now at the age of twenty-one, I have relocated once again to the beautiful city of Vancouver to pursue my improv acting and stand up comedy careers. Through past employment, I have developed outstanding customer service relations and have been able to use my improv training to my advantage, engaging individuals in light hearted and amicable communications. I have been employed through Parks Canada for three summers as a customer service attendant and have enjoyed engaging both National and International visitors in English and French.
I am a strong believer in the philosophy of “If you’re going to do it, do it right.”, and am always the first to carry a big smile and positive attitude wherever I go.
