Hi Mac's Peeps,
York Region Police Constable Garrett Styles was killed on duty while making a traffic stop near Newmarket. He was struck, dragged then pinned under the van driven by an unlicensed 15 year old boy. The boy suffered paralyzing injuries himself and has since been charged with first-degree murder.
The 32-year old officer was laid to rest on July 5th and left behind his wife Melissa and their two young children, 10-week-old son Nolan and 2 1/2-year-old daughter Meredith.
Mac’s stores in Ontario are collecting donations for his family. Please feel free to donate any amount. All money collected will be presented to the wife of Constable Styles.
